Basecamp: Join us in the petite, historic rich, medieval village of Sospel, nestled between several mountain valleys high above the med. It is situated in the Maritime Alps, which can only mean one thing; some seriously epic trails at the southern tip of the French Alps. Massive descents, massive scenery & of course great french wine & food.

Level: This trip is not suitable for beginners due to the technical difficulty of the trails in this region.

Fitness: You will need a good level of fitness as there is not a lot of flat ground in this part of France. This is not a DH or a XC specific holiday, we will be doing a bit (maybe a lot) of both. Shuttling does not mean no pedaling & undulating can often mean uphill... So be ready for a bit of everything. Descending up to 3000m in one day is very exhausting. The better prepared you are, the more enjoyable your adventure will be.

Yoga: We will be starting our day off with a gentle morning yoga flow. Don't be scared; this is an introduction to yoga to show you how it can help & benefit your everyday life & also improve your mountain biking - and more biking is always a good thing ;) These trips are a little bit yoga; a lot of biking.

summary:  Proper French backcountry trails, rocky, long, technical, fast & flowy, from mountain tops to the beaches, beautiful cuisine & wine, that small village "joie de vivre"charm, shuttles, yoga, and baguettes - oui oui - this one is for you mademoiselle!

Book & Pay: This trip is in collaboration with the rad duo of Ash & Melissa over at Trans Provence.

The price includes professional guiding, yoga classes, shuttles, airport transfers, bed & breakfast, most dinners, vino & lunches, on trail skills coaching (from myself & nose wheelie king Ash) & a few more surprises.
